In order to foster the bike use, foster integration between several means of transport, enabling mobility in Bahia´s capital, CCR Metrô Bahia has bike facilities to Metro customers in Line 1 stations (except Lapa, Campo da Pólvora and Brotas) and in Line 2. On Saturdays (from 2 pm), Sundays and holidays, your bike is welcome to Metro. Check rules and times below.
Biking facilities are open to the customers in the operation time as Metro stations: everyday from 5 am to midnight.
In order to use the service, it is necessary to register before a station collaborator and provide a document with picture and proof or residence. The bike facility use is free and exclusive to Metro customer bikes.
The bike owner must have a safety device (lock, chain, etc.) to secure the bike.
Under 12-year olds can use the bike facilities only if they are with a responsible adult.
The bike that remains parked for 72 consecutive hours, will have its lock broken and will be removed by CCR Metrô Bahia for donation, The safety device broken will not be reimbursed.
CCR Metrô Bahia is not liable to accessories left in the bike or by any damages caused to it.
Provide to CCR Metrô Bahia collaborator, in the bike facility, a document with picture.
Request to the station collaborator the owner data and bike check, using as base the file registered.
Upon checking, two identification carts are generated: one to be provided to the customer and another to the affixed to the bike safety device (lock, chain, etc).
The customer will take the bike to secure it with safety device in the space.
No bikes will be accepted if the biking facility maximum capacity is exceeded.
The registration must be filled in the name of the responsible person that will use the service. In case another person uses the same bike and wants to use the bike facility, this person´s name must be included in the responsible person´s record.
In order to leave, the customer must provide the identification card and a document with picture to the station collaborator.
Remove the bike from the space and provide to the station collaborator the identification card that was on the bike. Upon check and identification card retention, the exit will be released.
In case of identification numbered card loss, the bike will be released upon providing document with picture (RG, CTPS, CNH, etc.) and checking data stated in the record file.
Your bike is welcome in Metro on Saturdays, from 2 pm and on Sundays and holidays during business operation.
Before validating your card in the turnstile, tell the Service and Safety Agent in service that you want to enter with your bike.
In staircases, the bike must be carried and by safety measure, the customer that pushes the bike must wait for the staircase release used by another customers.
In escalators, the bike transport is allowed only upwards.
Using elevators to transport bikes is not allowed.
Keep your bike next to you, and it is forbidden to pedal in station, train and terminal accesses and inside areas.
Only one non-motorized bike and clean (no clay, mud, grease) per customer is allowed, in order not to compromise another customer comfort and Metro facility cleaning.
Keep the bike before the yellow line.
Board with your bike only in the last door of the last wagon, giving way to the other customers.
Up to two bikes per train are allowed. In case you cannot board, wait for the next train.
Under 12-year olds with bikes must be with their parents or responsible person.
Do not let your bike prevent door closing or obstruct the other customer entering and exiting.
Do not leave your bike lying on the floor, touching the walls or place on the seats.
CCR Metrô Bahia is not liable to your bike. Damages caused to the other customers, to yourself or the assets are liable to the biker.
The collaborators can prevent biker access in case of system abnormality or in case of major flow in stations and trains.
In case of evacuation need, leave the bike in the train and contact a Service and Safety Agent.
